Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' growth and development as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy working in educational environments and thrive in collaborative, student-focused settings. You'll play a key part in helping learners build the skills they need for academic success—all while working only two in-person days per week and maintaining excellent work-life balance.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Indiana Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred Familiarity with educational best practices and IEP development Strong communication and interpersonal skills for student, staff, and family collaboration Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments and contribute to the evaluation process Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain accurate documentation of progress and make recommendations for supports Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights into students' functional needs Adapt interventions and materials for students' unique abilities and learning styles Why consider this opportunity?
