Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a welcoming K-12 educational environment near the Greenwood, IN area. This contract opportunity is specifically designed for dedicated professionals eager to make a difference throughout the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires on-site services, creating meaningful, hands-on interactions with students and collaborating closely with school staff.
Expected Schedule:
In-person, on-site presence 2 days per week Full school-year engagement (2026-2027)
Qualifications:
Active OT license covering Indiana practice Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric setting Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs Effective communication and problem-solving skills Adaptability when working with diverse student populations Commitment to fostering student independence and growth
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, targeting fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions accordingly Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings Share strategies and resources with faculty to promote classroom success Support students in achieving their academic and functional goals Unlock the opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives with the flexibility of part-time, in-person work.
