Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a vibrant K-12 educational setting. This position covers a maternity leave, starting mid-August for an initial 12-week period, with the possibility of extending. You'll play a crucial role in helping learners develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals near Greenwood, IN.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Indiana Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting, preferably across K-12 Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and intervention strategies Comfort with consultative and direct service delivery for a diverse student population Excellent communication and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for K-12 students Conduct assessments and participate in developing IEPs Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Document and communicate therapy progress and outcomes effectively Support functional participation in classroom activities, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive behaviors Perks of the
