Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide maternity leave coverage in a supportive school setting near Indianapolis, IN. This contract position begins in mid-August and is scheduled for 12 weeks, with the possibility of extending further. The role is part-time, totaling 24.5 hours per week across 3.5 days, and covers students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Indiana Previous experience as an OT in school-based settings preferred Comfortable collaborating with diverse K-12 student populations Strong organization and communication skills Ability to independently manage a flexible caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy support Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families Document sessions, progress, and collaborate with IEP teams Support students in reaching academic and functional goals Adjust interventions as needed to address student needs throughout the assignment This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT who enjoys the variety of working with K-12 students while collaborating with education professionals to create positive outcomes.
