Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist to a dynamic educational setting near Mooresville, IN! This contract position offers a fantastic opportunity to positively influence the lives of K-12 students. The role is part-time, with a convenient schedule of just two days per week, allowing you to maintain excellent work-life balance while making a meaningful impact throughout the 2026/2027 school year.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience as an OT in a K-12 or pediatric setting preferred Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families Proficient with assessment tools and documentation Flexible and adaptable to meet diverse student needs across grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students across K-12 grades Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate OT goals within school programs Provide direct therapy services to help students improve daily living, social, and academic skills Support staff and families with training and resources related to occupational therapy approaches Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student success throughout the school year
