Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing occupational therapy services to elementary-aged children. This full-time opportunity focuses on supporting young learners in a welcoming school environment, helping them build essential skills for their academic and personal growth. The position is on-site and runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering the ideal setting for professionals who enjoy face-to-face engagement and collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current licensure or eligibility for Occupational Therapy in Indiana Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for working onsite and forming meaningful relationships with students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing a variety of needs to support their educational participation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and progress Develop and maintain individualized plans in accordance with school policies and state guidelines Document therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress accurately and promptly Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team This contract role is perfect for a dedicated OT who is passionate about empowering children and enjoys working collaboratively within a vibrant school community.
