Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Make an immediate impact in a hospital-based therapy setting by providing expert Occupational Therapy (OT) services to patients in need. This contract position calls for a dedicated and knowledgeable professional committed to enhancing patient well-being and supporting a collaborative healthcare team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Clinical experience in a hospital or acute-care environment preferred Solid understanding of assessments, patient care planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic healthcare needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to determine patient strengths, deficits, and treatment goals Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on improving patients' functional independence and quality of life Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate care and progress toward recovery Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, adaptive equipment, and strategies for daily living Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modify plans as needed for optimal results Uphold hospital standards for safety, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance
