Occupational Therapist Radius Therapy LLC Lawrence, KS Job Details Contract From $58 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Outpatient Assisting with ADLs Medical scheduling Home health Medical terminology Full Job Description We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient home based therapy team. Clients do not need to be homebound as we provide outpatient services in the client's home. Extremely flexible schedule! You will be able to schedule patients on your time and be in control of the size of your caseload. We primarily serve the geriatric and adult population and have several specialty areas. The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients. They will assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending follow-up programs. Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries. Qualifications Strong patient care skills with a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy Proficient in medical terminology and discharge planning Knowledge of assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and developing care plans Background in acute care, geriatrics, and early intervention settings

From $58.00 per hour
