Desired Experience:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience in therapy for critical illness and rehabilitation settings preferred Commitment to high standards of care and personal safety Excellent collaborative, communication, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess functional abilities of patients and formulate targeted treatment plans Implement therapies and evaluate outcomes, adjusting as necessary for each patient Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings; contribute to discharge planning Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and OT students, with mentoring responsibilities Deliver superior care in alignment with facility's core values—quality, respect, teamwork, and results Prioritize patient and staff safety at all times, adhering to rigorous protocols Ensure complete, timely documentation according to department policies Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients, families, and staff
