Bluegrass Orthopaedics is seeking a PRN Therapist to join our team in Lexington, KY . As a key member of our dynamic clinical team, you'll work closely with physicians and orthopedic specialists to evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity and hand conditions in an outpatient setting. You'll guide patients through customized treatment plans designed to restore function, adapt to new challenges, and return to work, sport, or daily life with confidence.
What You'll Do:
Work one-on-one with patients to improve physical function and independence Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapy including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training Design and fabricate custom splints and braces Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure exceptional care Educate patients on injury prevention, self-care, and wellness strategies Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic medical record system
What You'll Bring:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Kentucky licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist Hand/Upper Extremity therapy experience required; CHT certification is a plus. BLS certification preferred Strong knowledge of upper extremity anatomy, rehabilitation principles, and therapeutic modalities Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills A passion for patient-centered care and continuous professional growth
