Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities await for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about making a difference for young learners. This part-time contract role is designed for professionals eager to contribute as part of an Early Interventionist Team, focusing on children aged 3 to 4 years. The position is onsite and offers a unique chance to support early developmental milestones in a school setting.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Louisiana OT or COTA license required Experience working with pediatric or early childhood populations preferred Comfortable providing therapy within a school environment Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Strong communication and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to children ages 3-4, supporting their functional and academic development Assess students' needs and design individualized interventions in alignment with educational goals Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to ensure an integrated approach Document therapy services, progress, and recommendations with accuracy and efficiency For COTA applicants, supervision and ongoing support will be provided Balance your schedule working 4 hours each day, 4 days per week (2 days in the North area, 2 in the South) This contract position offers flexibility, the satisfaction of supporting early learners, and the ability to work closely with a supportive school-based team.
