Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities to identify occupational therapy needs Develop and implement customized care plans focused on assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional independence Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings Provide therapy sessions for individuals with disabilities, autism, or post-acute conditions in inpatient, outpatient, home health, or school environments Assist patients in regaining skills through therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to meet evolving goals Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques, activity modifications, and health maintenance strategies Requirements Valid occupational therapy license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques Experience with acute care settings such as ICU or inpatient units is highly desirable Familiarity with early intervention programs and skilled nursing facilities enhances your candidacy Ability to develop detailed care plans and perform case management effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients effectively Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate occupational therapy.
