Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic summer role providing essential occupational therapy support to students during the Extended School Year program. This contract opportunity is designed for a skilled OT eager to make a positive difference with a diverse caseload across two nearby campuses. You'll help approximately 20 students enrich their educational journey, primarily in Ludlow, with occasional service in West Springfield.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure for Occupational Therapy required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred Strong communication and organization skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students Ability to adapt interventions to support diverse needs Collaborative mindset and flexibility to provide support across multiple locations
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy sessions according to students' IEPs Assess and document progress while adjusting interventions as needed for ESY program success Travel between Ludlow and Brush Hill sites, with a partial day in West Springfield as needed Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student achievement and participation Maintain accurate, timely records per state and district requirements This role provides a chance to help students continue their growth outside the regular school year while enjoying a manageable summer schedule of 15 hours per week. The contract runs from July 1 to August 7, 2026, offering the flexibility ideal for work-life balance, professional development, or supplementary experience.
