Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting students as an Occupational Therapist during the Extended School Year! Work with a dedicated team to help learners from PreK through 8th grade develop essential skills that set them up for success in and out of the classroom. This contract role offers the opportunity to focus on individual student needs and contribute to a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists Skilled in assessing and planning interventions for students with diverse needs Strong written and verbal communication abilities Comfortable working with students from PreK through middle school
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEP goals Assess student needs and document progress throughout the program Collaborate with teachers to implement therapeutic strategies in the classroom Communicate with families to support skill development at home Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines Participate in team meetings to provide input on student progress and strategies This is a contract position running from July 6th through August 6th, four days a week, offering a focused schedule that leaves room for summer plans. The students you'll serve range from early childhood to eighth grade, ensuring diverse and fulfilling experiences each day.
