Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students as a contract Occupational Therapist in the Attleboro, MA area. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with a dedicated educational community, helping young learners achieve their fullest potential as part of a supportive team. Your day-to-day will include providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students. The assignment offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and active Occupational Therapist license (OT) in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver therapy sessions focused on improving fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
