Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting students in both middle and high school settings as an Occupational Therapist. Play a meaningful role in fostering student growth and participation, collaborating with passionate educators, and designing interventions that inspire success throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in a school-based OT role or with adolescent populations Ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement therapy services tailored to each student Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements Adaptability to work with diverse learners across different grade levels, with a special focus on middle and high school students
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Work closely with educators to integrate OT strategies within the classroom Deliver direct and consultative services to help students achieve their academic and functional goals Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Educate staff and families on strategies for supporting students' needs across school environments Foster an encouraging atmosphere that motivates student participation and independence Enjoy the flexibility of a contract position in a supportive school community just outside of Boston, where your dedication will make a lasting impact in students' educational journeys.
