Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing essential occupational therapy services in a dynamic school-based setting near Boston, MA. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 24, 2026, with the potential for extension to ESY or NSY sessions based on need. Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll be instrumental in supporting the growth and development of students while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts Experience in school-based occupational therapy highly valued Background in home health or general healthcare as an OT is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized plans to meet diverse student needs Proficiency in documentation and compliance with state/federal requirements Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver OT services to students, evaluating and treating those with fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess student progress and adapt interventions as needed Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation standards Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, and support student programming Consult with school staff to support generalization of OT strategies in the classroom setting Engage in ongoing professional development
