Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity providing occupational therapy services in a specialized school-based Extended School Year (ESY) program. Located in the vibrant Brockton, MA area, this contract position is designed for dedicated professionals ready to make a meaningful difference this summer. The ESY program runs from June 29th through August 6th, offering a unique chance to work Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 1:15 PM—perfect for those seeking a balanced schedule while positively impacting students' lives. In this role, you'll work as an occupational therapist serving students with autism and other complex disorders. This program is highly intensive, supporting learners who benefit from significant assistance to reach their goals. Your expertise truly matters here, as you'll collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to help each student thrive during the summer session.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and valid OT licensure in Massachusetts Experience working in school settings, especially with students on the autism spectrum and with complex learning needs Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Familiarity with ESY programs, or a keen interest in intensive special education environments Commitment to evidence-based, individualized therapy approaches
Key Responsibilities:
