Job Description

BEEP OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST POSITION OVERVIEW
Provide consultation and direct OT services to BEEP, K-8, High School and/or Post-Secondary/Transition students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide direct services to students as indicated on caseload IEP Support students with a range of OT services including but not limited to perceptual/sensory/motor/developmental delay or underlying impairments that limit/prevent a student from accessing the educational curriculum Coordination of related service and service only student support Consult with ESY teachers Provide direct or consultative services; modify or adapt school environments, tools, or materials as needed in order to support a student in accessing the educational curriculum and environment as independently as possible Support needs related to visual perception, motor proficiency, social skills, handwriting, activities of daily living, self-feeding, fine motor, sensory processing, psychosocial skills, eating, self-care and organization Adapt as needed to changes in student and/or team response, available treatment locations, and educational activities Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED
Occupational Therapist licensure required
SCHEDULE
July 6th
  • August 13th, 2026 9:00
  • 2:00, Monday
  • Thursday
  • Hours, sites, ages and schedule are dependent on caseload Additional 5.5 hours for progress report writing prior to last day of program Additional 30 minutes per day for planning Contact information
