Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students as an Occupational Therapist during the ESY (Extended School Year) session in the Ludlow area. This contract assignment focuses on providing essential OT services for approximately 20 students across two locations, ensuring every student receives quality support during the summer term. The majority of your time will be spent in Ludlow, with a smaller portion of the work taking place in West Springfield.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Occupational Therapy licensure in accordance with state requirements Experience delivering OT services in school settings, especially with elementary or special education populations Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate with teachers, support staff, and families Familiarity with IEP implementation in a school environment Ability to travel between Ludlow and Brush Hill locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT interventions to students with a range of needs as outlined in their IEPs Assess, plan, and implement individualized strategies to support student learning and independence Document services and student progress in alignment with district and state guidelines Liaise with educational team members to promote the best outcomes for students Provide consultation and recommendations to staff and families as appropriate Maintain compliance with all required documentation and professional standards This contract role runs from July 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026, for 15 hours per week.
