Immediately Job Description Center School, part of the Positive Regard Network, invites applicants for the position of Temporary Registered Occupational Therapist, for the period July 2026 through January 2027. Position offers flexibility in the number of hours to be scheduled. Position requires current MA OT/R certification and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Master's degree strongly preferred. Services to be provided include individual and group sessions, assessments and classroom consultations in our Holyoke and Chicopee locations. Competitive salary (annualized range $72k to $78k per year) commensurate with experience.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides supervision, mentoring and training for all staff delivering occupational therapy services in the school. Collaborates with Teachers and other allied health staff to provide comprehensive and appropriate services to students. Writes IEP's in conjunction with Teachers and attends IEP meetings as required. Develops, implements and manages occupational therapy curriculum and assessment materials. Develops treatment protocols and administers occupational therapy assessments, including the school's swimming pool as a therapeutic environment, to students and prepares corresponding reports, as needed. Prepares updates and reports for presentation at district team meetings and attends team meetings as requested. Oversees the school's Sensory Rooms and Sensory Diets. Assists the floor in the mornings with student ADL skills, modeling for staff best practice in supporting students' OT, ADL and transition goals. Plans and provides training for school staff as needed or requested. Adheres to professional licensure standards and national certification standards while upholding the school model of treatment.
