Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential occupational therapy services in a vibrant K-5 school setting. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking to make an impact during the 2026-2027 academic year, from September 3, 2026, through June 23, 2027. Work alongside a supportive team as you help young learners thrive and reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, especially K-5 Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and progress tracking Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptability and creativity in developing individualized interventions
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-5 students according to individualized education plans Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote students' participation in classroom activities Maintain thorough and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Offer support, resources, and training to families and staff as needed
