Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by utilizing your expertise in occupational therapy to support students from PreK through 8th grade. This contract position is designed for an enthusiastic OT passionate about enhancing student development and empowering learners with diverse needs. Working within a collaborative school environment, you'll provide essential services during the Extended School Year, from July 6th through August 6th, with a convenient schedule of four days per week.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT license valid for practice Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff Ability to adapt approaches to meet a wide range of student developmental and learning needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across PreK-8th grade, tailored to individual educational plans Assess students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional abilities within classroom settings Collaborate closely with educators and other therapists to design strategies supporting student success in both academic and daily life skills Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and recommendations in accordance with school standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education planning Experience the satisfaction of seeing your work make a tangible difference over the course of this rewarding summer opportunity.
