Job Description

The Hand Therapist, certified occupational or physical therapist specializing in rehabilitation of patients with hand and upper extremity conditions caused by trauma, surgery, or chronic disorders. You will collaborate with referring clinicians to evaluate, treat, and restore function through customized therapy plans, including postoperative care, preventative strategies, and industry consultation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Specialize in rehabilitating patients with hand and upper extremity conditions through advanced therapeutic techniques Treat individuals affected by trauma, surgery, or chronic disorders such as arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and neurological conditions Evaluate and identify functional impairments in the upper extremities Develop and implement treatment plans including postoperative, preventative, non-operative, or conservative care Collaborate with referring clinicians to ensure continuity and effectiveness of patient care You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or higher degree from an accredited OT or PT program Licensed by the state of Massachusetts as a OT or PT Advanced certification or eligibility for Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty 2+ years of related experience Computer experience required with the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet programs Electronic medical record (EMR) experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR based on other technology experience Proven solid interpersonal skills and sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs Proven excellent communication skills, both written and oral Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
