Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services in Quincy, MA. This contract position offers the chance to support students' developmental and functional needs within an educational environment, making a meaningful impact on their academic and daily life success.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify students' occupational therapy needs Designing and implementing individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's goals Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities Documenting progress and maintaining accurate therapy records in compliance with school policies Supporting students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies to enhance participation in school routines Ideal candidates will have: Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and credentials Experience working in school settings as an OT Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel and families Understanding of educational laws and regulations related to special education services Commitment to fostering student independence and inclusion within the school environment Located in Quincy, MA, this role provides the unique opportunity to engage with a diverse student population and contribute to their academic growth and well-being.
