Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students from PreK to 8th grade during the Extended School Year program. From July 6th through August 6th, your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will make a meaningful difference across a diverse student population. This is a four-day-per-week position, situated near Randolph, MA, offering the perfect balance of professional engagement and summer flexibility.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid OT license for the state (or eligibility for licensure) Background in school-based Occupational Therapy preferred Experience working with PreK-8 students is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support teams Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in the PreK-8 range Conduct assessments and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Support classroom staff in implementing strategies for students' fine motor, sensory, and daily living skill goals Adapt therapy approaches for virtual or in-person environments as needed Engage families in the therapeutic process, offering guidance and resources to foster student growth
