Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in Pre-K through 4th grade as an Occupational Therapist for a contract role spanning from ASAP through June 26, 2026. Work onsite in two engaging school buildings near Taunton, MA, where you'll collaborate with educators and families to make a real impact on young learners' growth and independence.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current Occupational Therapist license valid in Massachusetts Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with Pre-K to 4th grade students, is highly valued Skilled in conducting evaluations, writing comprehensive reports, and presenting findings to educational teams and families Comfortable delivering both direct therapy and consult services Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Typical Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments in accordance with school procedures and timelines Prepare thorough written reports, including recommendations and planning for IEP meetings Deliver direct occupational therapy to students individually and in small groups Consult with educators, staff, and parents to develop and support classroom strategies for student success Monitor and document student progress, crafting progress reports for educators and families Travel between two building locations within a regular school schedule This full-time, onsite role follows a consistent schedule from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a half-hour unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours per week.
