Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist interested in working within a supportive school-based setting this summer. Located near Westfield, MA, this position covers extended school year services between July 1, 2026 and August 7, 2026. The role focuses on providing OT support to students in Ludlow and Brush Hill, with the majority of hours onsite in Ludlow and a potential partial day in West Springfield. Ideal candidates have prior experience supporting school-aged children and can adapt to a dynamic caseload—approximately 20 students requiring varying OT services throughout the summer session. This short-term position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 15 hours, providing a balanced way to further your impact without a yearlong commitment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Holds and can provide proof of active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experienced with school-based OT services, ideally with knowledge of ESY program needs Comfortable commuting between Ludlow and West Springfield as needed Able to deliver clear, compassionate communication with students, educators, and families Ready to fulfill state and program requirements for credentialingRole Expectations:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a varied caseload of students Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to help students achieve summer IEP goals Maintain timely and accurate documentation per school and state guidelines Attend team meetings as necessary and contribute to progress monitoring reports Adapt quickly if caseload numbers shift; provide consistent support across locations Interested in making a meaningful difference this summer alongside engaged students and supportive staff?
