Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower student growth and development by bringing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a welcoming school community near Haydenville, MA. This rewarding contract opportunity invites you to provide both direct and consultative OT services two days per week through the remainder of the school year, ensuring you can make a significant impact while maintaining valuable flexibility. In this role, you'll engage with a manageable caseload of approximately 11 students, offering individualized and small group sessions 1-2 times per week, each lasting 20-30 minutes. Your work will focus on supporting students' participation, fine and gross motor skills, and overall functional independence in the school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current licensure in Massachusetts Prior experience in school-based OT services strongly preferred Ability to deliver high-quality therapy to diverse student populations Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and responsive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide both direct services to students and consultative guidance to staff and families Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards Participate in student evaluations, progress monitoring, and team meetings Adapt strategies to best meet each student's unique needs and learning goals
