100% onsite position located at the Worcester, MA, Guidelight Clinic with opportunities to float to other sites!Hours:
12p-4p x 2 days/weekSetting:
PHP/IOP Role Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the facility. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities related to their mental health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs, focusing on improving daily living skills, work-related skills, and overall quality of life. Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide support and guidance to clients in managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges through occupational therapy techniques. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and mental health.Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Experience in a mental health or partial hospital setting required Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
