Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs to help individuals of all ages improve their daily functioning and quality of life. Whether working in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, schools, or home health environments, you will utilize your expertise to promote independence and facilitate recovery across diverse patient populations. Your passion for patient-centered care and your ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams will be key to your success in this rewarding position. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop tailored occupational therapy plans Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility exercises Design and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving motor skills, coordination, and functional independence Collaborate with physicians, speech therapists, physical therapists, and case managers to coordinate care plans and discharge strategies Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and safety measures for ongoing support at home or in community settings Participate in discharge planning by assessing patient progress and recommending appropriate follow-up services or therapies Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Experience Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in inpatient settings such as hospitals or skilled nursing facilities Hands-on experience with acute care environments including ICU (Intensive Care Unit) settings and post-acute care facilities Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including pediatrics (children), geriatrics (older adults), individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and those requiring early intervention services Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and functional assessment techniques necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Familiarity with outpatient clinics, home health services, school-based programs, or clinic environments is highly desirable Experience developing care plans for patients across various settings such as outpatient therapy centers or skilled nursing facilities Strong case management skills to coordinate multidisciplinary care efforts effectively Join us in making a meaningful difference by empowering individuals through innovative occupational therapy solutions. Pay:
$52.00 - $62.00 per hour
