Overview Position:
Occupational Therapist•Hand Therapist (PRN/ Per•Diem)
Location:
NovaCare Havre de
Grace, MD Compensation:
$50.00•$55.00 /Hr.

NOVACARE
in Havre de Grace, Maryland, is seeking local Hand Therapists (Occupational Therapists) for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with at least 2 years of hand therapy experience, including splinting and splint fabrication. Additional hand therapists on staff.
Schedule:
As needed, per diem hours for coverage. Our center is open as early 7A closing at 7P Monday through Friday. Steady hours may be possible as our referrals grow.

Responsibilities Collaboration:
Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
High Standard of Care:
Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Personalized Treatment:
Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
Relationship-Building:
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)•accredited school of occupational therapy CPR certification Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
