Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their development in a dynamic educational environment. This exciting contract opportunity is perfect for a Maryland-licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
Two openings are available:
one focused on early intervention with an 11-month schedule, and another working with K-12 students. The assignment begins August 10th, 2026, and continues through June 17th, 2027, offering full-time hours within a collaborative and student-centered atmosphere.What We're Looking For:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland Previous experience providing OT services within a school environment (Early Intervention and/or K-12 preferred) Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering student independence, participation, and successWhat You'll Be Doing:
Delivering occupational therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions for students requiring support Designing and adapting classroom tasks and environments to facilitate improved access and performance Consulting regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated care Tracking and reporting on student progress in alignment with IEP goals or developmental milestones Attending meetings and contributing valuable input toward educational planning Maintaining thorough, readable records in accordance with district and state guidelinesThe Role Offers:
