Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students' growth and development! This full-time contract position offers two unique caseloads—one focused on early intervention (11-month assignment) and one serving K-12 students—for the upcoming school year. The role begins in August 2026 and wraps up mid-June 2027.
What You'll Need:
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Maryland Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and intervention strategies Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, educators, and colleagues Comfort working both one-on-one and in groups with diverse student populationsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with educational plans Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and staff to maximize student success Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings as a valued team member This role is an exciting avenue to make an impact within a supportive educational environment, serve a diverse caseload, and deepen your expertise in school-based occupational therapy.
