Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in diverse settings for the upcoming academic year. This role focuses on delivering occupational therapy services within a supportive school environment, offering two caseload options: an Early Intervention 11-month assignment and a K-12 opening. The position is full time and runs from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027, ideal for dedicated professionals who enjoy making a meaningful difference in student development. Your expertise in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy will help foster the independence and participation of students at various developmental stages. You will collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective intervention strategies tailored for each student's needs.
Qualifications/Desired Skills:
Current Maryland Occupational Therapy License required Experience with Early Intervention and/or K-12 populations preferred Strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and caregivers Ability to adapt therapy plans and collaborate within multidisciplinary settings Skilled at case documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services within classroom or small group settings Consult with teachers and caregivers to support student goals Document student progress and update goals as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student accommodations Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
