This opportunity involves working with students in elementary schools, including those with specialized needs. The assignment will cover a leave position through the end of the academic year, supporting students in environments that include Autism programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, including those in Autism programs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and progress. Adapt interventions tailored to the school setting to promote student participation and achievement. Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings. Previous work with Autism programs or students on the autism spectrum highly preferred. Strong understanding of educational environments and related therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records efficiently.
