Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their fullest potential by contributing your expertise as a dedicated occupational therapist in a dynamic K-12 educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity invites you to work collaboratively with school staff and families, supporting children's growth, skills development, and access to education.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with eligibility to practice in the state. Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred. Familiarity with K-12 student populations and a wide range of physical, developmental, and cognitive needs. Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in a school environment. Collaborative mindset to work effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess student abilities, design intervention plans, and deliver targeted therapy for children in grades K-12. Support students in developing daily living, motor, and organizational skills essential for classroom participation and academic success. Consult and collaborate with educators and families to integrate therapeutic strategies within the educational framework. Develop and maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation. Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student support. Adapt therapy delivery to a range of ages and abilities, ensuring each child's unique needs are met. You'll enjoy a supportive environment where your skills make a difference every day.
