Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract position that allows you to leverage your Occupational Therapy expertise in both educational and healthcare settings near scenic Norway, ME. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals, support student success, and inspire positive change within the community.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience in school-based OT and home health OT preferred Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for children and young adults with varying needs Excellent communication, time management, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' functional and academic OT needs Design and deliver individualized intervention plans in both school and home health environments Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the learning environment Document progress and maintain detailed records according to regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings, supporting goal setting and progress evaluation Stay informed on best practices and current research to ensure innovative, evidence-based care
