Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by utilizing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide therapeutic support both within schools and home health environments, ensuring students receive the interventions they need to thrive academically and functionally.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure Proven experience in school-based OT practice, with familiarity in educational plans and documentation requirements Background in home health OT or general healthcare environments a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt interventions for diverse student populations and settings Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage caseload efficiently
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assessments and individualized interventions to students in the school environment Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop and monitor progress on student goals Develop, update, and maintain accurate therapy documentation and required reports Provide support for carryover of therapeutic strategies in both classroom and home settings Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for accommodations and supports Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth and independence
