Job Description
Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic hospital environment and make an impact as an Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to patients, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license Experience providing therapy within a hospital setting preferred Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and caseload demands Commitment to maintaining documentation and upholding compliance standardsKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs for occupational therapy treatment Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team members Guide patients and families through exercises and activities that facilitate recovery and independence Document patient progress, update goals, and modify treatment approaches as necessary Educate patients and caregivers about home programs and adaptative techniques to prolong positive outcomes Participate in team meetings and contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care As an integral part of the hospital therapy team, you will have the chance to grow your clinical expertise and serve a diverse patient population.
