School Occupational Therapist | Auburn Hills, Michigan ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Auburn Hills, MI Job Details Contract 17 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. What We're Looking For:
Valid Michigan OT licensure Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist, especially in school settings Solid understanding of IEPs and special education processes Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student progress and feedback Passion for helping children and adolescents overcome barriers to learning
Your Major Duties Will Include:
Providing direct therapy to students, implementing individualized treatment plans Assessing and documenting students' progress regularly Collaborating closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams Recommending adaptive tools and strategies for classroom success Advocating for student needs and promoting their independence Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with school regulations
