This 18-week opportunity, beginning June 1st through October 2nd, brings you to a reputable hospital setting with a robust therapy department. By collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues and observing diverse workplace practices, you'll broaden your scope of patient care approaches. You'll also enhance your resume with hands-on exposure to dynamic case loads and cutting-edge documentation systems such as Epic.
Schedule/Hours:
Days:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Rotating weekends: Two weekend shifts per month required Holiday coverage: July 4th and
Labor Day What You'll Need:
Valid Occupational Therapy license Recent hospital-based OT experience Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records Current BLS certification Strong communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients within an acute care hospital setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes Complete timely and accurate documentation using Epic Support patients' personal goals for rehabilitation and functional independence Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
