In this role, you will collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored therapy plans that promote independence, enhance daily living skills, and improve overall student well-being. This role can be flexible and tailored to your preference in hours and caseload. Do you want hours to fill your schedule?
Hours:
Full or part time hours available Off-site meetings and indirect work Competitive and negotiable hourly rate, or salary for full time employment Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Utilize engaging materials and techniques to motivate students during therapy sessions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student. Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes. Provide guidance and education to families regarding strategies for supporting their child's development. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist with eligibility to work in a school setting. Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings, is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff. Ability to create a supportive and motivating environment for children.
