Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Advance your occupational therapy expertise in a hospital environment, supporting patients through their journey to improved function and well-being. This position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality therapy services to a diverse patient population.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience delivering therapy in a hospital or acute care setting preferred Comprehensive understanding of assessment, treatment planning, and intervention techniques for a broad range of conditions Excellent documentation and communication abilities Compassionate approach with keen attention to patient needs and progress Adaptability to a dynamic clinical environment and varying patient acuity Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to each patient Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to ensure continuity of care Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and adaptive strategies Monitor and track patient progress, updating plans as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with hospital protocols Contribute insights and expertise during interdisciplinary meetings
