Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment Flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license or eligibility in Michigan Experience in both acute and outpatient therapy settings preferred Able to supervise OT Assistants, Aides, and students per regulatory standards Competency in Microsoft Windows and electronic documentation systems Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork and patient education
Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs using formal and informal measures (skeletal, neurological, respiratory, developmental, and cognitive) Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment goals based on comprehensive assessments Submit and coordinate treatment plans with physicians Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, prognosis, and treatment rationale Recommend adaptive equipment and coordinate procurement Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with all policies Provide case management and participate in interdisciplinary meetings Foster team development and contribute to process improvement and community outreach
