Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program within a school setting located in Warren, MI. This contract position offers the chance to apply specialized OT skills in a dynamic educational environment focused on supporting students with ASD.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students within the ASD program. Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student success. Utilize a variety of techniques including in-person therapy and teletherapy as appropriate. Document progress and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Desired Experience and Skills:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Familiarity with home health and healthcare occupational therapy principles. Competence in providing teletherapy services. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of best practices for working with children on the autism spectrum.
