We partner with ABA centers in Dearborn and surrounding communities to deliver integrated, collaborative services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental needs. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work across two dynamic settings: our clinic in Wayne, MI, and ABA partner centers in Dearborn and surrounding communities. - Dearborn, MI and surrounding communities Scheduling across both settings is flexible and determined collaboratively Key Responsibilities Sensory Integration & Processing Conduct comprehensive sensory processing evaluations using standardized and clinical observation tools Design and implement individualized sensory integration treatment plans grounded in Ayres Sensory Integration® principles Develop sensory diets and environmental modification strategies for home, school, and ABA center carry-over Collaborate with ABA therapists, parents, and educators to embed sensory strategies into daily routines Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Provide OT services to children with ASD across a range of functional areas including self-regulation, ADLs, social participation, and fine motor skills Work within an interdisciplinary team model alongside

staff at contracted center locations Support co-treatment and integrated programming to align OT goals with ABA behavioral objectives Maintain culturally sensitive, family-centered, and strengths-based approaches throughout treatment Reflex Integration Screen for and address retained primitive reflexes that impact motor development, attention, and learning Implement reflex integration techniques (MNRI, RMTi, or similar evidence-informed approaches) as appropriate Educate families and caregiving teams on home reflex integration programs and carry-over activities Feeding Therapy Evaluate and treat children with feeding difficulties including food refusal, texture aversions, oral motor dysfunction, and mealtime behavioral challenges Utilize evidence-based feeding frameworks (SOS Approach, sequential oral sensory strategies, GET Permission Approach, or similar) Collaborate with families, BCBAs, and other providers to develop safe, functional, and enjoyable mealtime routines Screen for and coordinate referrals for medical feeding concerns as appropriate Documentation & Collaboration Complete timely and thorough clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ABA staff/ family training sessions as needed Maintain professional communication with all collaborative partners, families, and referral sources Qualifications Required Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current NBCOT certification (OTR/L) Active Michigan OT licensure in good standing Experience working with pediatric populations, including children with ASD Demonstrated knowledge and clinical application of sensory integration principles Preferred SIPT or Sensory Integration certification (CLASI or equivalent) Training or certification in reflex integration approaches (MNRI, RMTi, or similar) Feeding therapy training (SOS Approach, GET Permission, or equivalent) Experience working in ABA, multidisciplinary, or school-based settings Bilingual skills (Arabic) a plus Contractor Details This is an independent contractor (1099) position. As a contractor, you will: Set your own availability in coordination with site scheduling needs Be responsible for your own liability insurance (proof required) Invoice The Specialists for services rendered Maintain your own professional development and continuing education Competitive per-visit or hourly rates
