Social Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric speech, occupational and ABA therapy clinic located in West Bloomfield, MI.

Job Title:

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine the appropriate treatment plan
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to help patients improve their daily living skills
• Provide therapy sessions to patients, including activities to improve motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as speech therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Proficient in using therapy equipment and tools
• Strong organizational skills for managing patient records and documentation
