Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel position; specifics determined onsite according to caseload and patient needs
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist Acute care and outpatient therapy experience preferred Competency in Microsoft Windows and willingness to participate in ongoing technology training Ability to work independently and collaboratively Comfort overseeing OT Assistants and Aides, and guiding students when needed Adaptability to handle physical demands and stressful situations
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing methods Develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans in consultation with physicians Educate patients, families, and caregivers Supervise OT Assistants, Aides, and students as per standards Recommend and coordinate adaptive/supportive equipment Exhibit effective verbal and written communication across all care teams Participate in process improvement and program development Foster education and development among staff and the broader community
