Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact in a Minnesota school community by supporting elementary students as a contract Occupational Therapist during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site position providing hands-on support to young learners and collaborating with a dedicated OT team as you help students reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Must hold current Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure Experience working in K-12 school settings, especially at the elementary level, highly preferred Comfortable dividing caseload and working collaboratively with other OTs Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills Commitment to on-site service (remote/virtual work not available for this assignment) Ability to start August 17, 2026 and commit through May 28, 2027
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing individual education plan (IEP) goals Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports Participate in pre-service meetings with the OT department to determine caseload and school assignments Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective interventions Foster student independence, participation, and success within the school environment Enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while playing an integral role in student development.
